Mar 19, 2004: Resist/Protest Pakistan’s proposed designation as a key US Ally

The US Secretary of State Colin Powell on March 18, 2004 announced America’s decision to designate Pakistan a "major non-NATO ally". The State Department is in the process of notifying Congress of this decision. If this decision becomes final, Pakistan will:

1. Obtain priority delivery of defense material and the purchase, for instance, of depleted uranium anti-tank rounds

2. Stockpile US military hardware, participate in defense research and development programs

3. Benefit from a US Government loan guarantee program, which backs up loans issued by private banks to finance arms exports

Please spare few minutes to read the following petition by USINPAC. USINPAC is a leading political action committee representing the voice of Indian Americans on Capitol Hill. You can sign this petition and help an effort to resist/protest Pakistan from assuming this ‘dangerous’ role!

Let us do our part to stop the Pakistani terrorism!!!
