Mar 01, 2003: Leftist, Congress and Veer Savarkar

India’s leftists and Congress raked up another controversy over the decision to unveil a portrait of Sri Savarkar in the Parliament Central Hall. Unfortunately their Anti-Hindu Hysteria does not stop at ‘Hate-Hindu campaign’. Leftists hate Hindus so much that they will not mind destroying India in their pursuit of eliminating Hinduism.

The same congress that is against Savarkar today had unanimously seconded the decision to install Veer Savarkar's portrait in the Central Hall, in a meeting held on December 5 last year. In less than threes months these people are screaming in the name of "Savarkar" and "Hindutwa". In protesting against the belated recognition given to one of the foremost warriors of independence struggle they are doing disservice to the nation. Shame on these "Political Vultures of India".

How many of our "Vultures" know that for Indira Gandhi, Savarkar was an "another word for daring and patriotism"? Savarkar was a leader of an exceptional qualities and courage who was a true hero of India’s freedom struggle, unlike the other personalities promoted by the British government that bestowed us nothing but the partition and eternal terrorism called – Pakistan. Veer Savarkar never professed "Slave" mentality for India. He was the symbol of strong India. Probably these are the reasons why our "Anti-nationals" want to wipe out his name from our history. Nothing new in their persistent activities that always harm India more than Hinduism.

When will our leftists, congress and the ‘English Media’ learn? "The enemy is not within….it is at our door….. and it is using our own people to destroy us" ……. Probably Never! ……. Long Live India!!

Quote
"It is the misfortune of India that we have such a democratic set up in which any fool who has never entered into the compound of any school even to escape from rain can easily find his way into the Parliament or Legislative Assembly and dare to guide the destiny of the nation! There are also others, who may be educated, seasoned politicians with the knowledge of history, but who may feel that there is nothing wrong to call one's own mother a prostitute if that could enable one to win votes and come to power, for anything is fair in love and politics!"
End Quote

Here are excerpts from 'Veer Savarkar' by Dhananjay Keer. Incidentally Mr. Keer was conferred Padma Bhushan in 1971 for this and other biographies. Mr. Keer himself of a former 'untouchable harijan' caste, worked with Savarkar on the first Pan-Hindu temple in Ratnagiri.

These excerpts have four interesting parts

  1. Savarkar's 'firsts'.
  2. Some interesting facts you should know.
  3. Veer Savarkar's 'prophecies' that came remarkably true including Pakistan and Kashmir.
  4. What others said about Savarkar.

Worth reading Excerpts from 'Veer Savarkar'
