Against all hegemons, save one, Atimes"It is all right for nations
like Britain, France, China, Russia, India and Israel to have powerful
missile forces and nuclear weapons, but not, according to Washington, for
Muslim nations to acquire modern strategic weapons. Anyone that does, like
Pakistan, will be severely punished." His observation is only partially
correct.

Kashmiri Rudali's false tears, IExpress
They collected the family in a room and opened indiscriminate fire,
killing four including a four-year-old child. The militants suspected that
Dar"s son had tipped off the forces, a "justification" to wipe out the entire
family.

Vajpayee Govt. Must Abandon Foreign Obsession, Samachar
Why is the English media so completely out of step with the new India that
is now emerging? Actually, it has been out of sync for a long time. By and
large, it defended Mrs Gandhi"s emergency and some papers went out of the way
to praise Mrs Gandhi.

Putin sets the Pace, Rediff
December 31, 1999, the last day of the twentieth century, will be
remembered as the day on which the Government of India meekly caved in to
terrorist demands. Seated along with three hardcore terrorists whose

Visiting a Hotel? Check if they have a copy of Holy Geeta, Sanjeev Nayyar
Whenever you visit any hotel please check whether it has a copy of Holy
Geeta. I visited Hyderabad on work and found that the hotel kept only the
Bible. The owner a Hindu did not even know about it. For starters the hotel
will now keep a book titled 'In Indian Culture Why Do We' by the Chinmaya
Mission. We must make it a point to check that every hotel which we visit
keeps a copy of the Holy Geeta. If not please speak to the concerned person,
email me the name of hotel, address, name of contact person and his email id,
will pursue the matter.

The bin Ladens' Great Escape, NRO
How the U.S. helped Osama's family leave the country after 9/11. With the
help of the FBI, the Saudis and the bin Laden family chartered an aircraft to
pick up family members in Los Angeles, Orlando, and Washington, D.C. The bin
Laden plane then flew the relatives to Boston, where — one week after the
attacks....

Attack on IDRF: Little Method to Their Madness, Sulekha
FOIL has been targeting IDRF simply because IDRF has supported a variety
of philanthropic and social work including many undertaken by the RSS and its
affiliates, and because IDRF has volunteers and office-bearers who are
affiliated with the VHP

Hi-tech ghosts of Christmas future, BBC
This time in 2050, we will be sitting down to eat a synthetic turkey, with
a robot helping out to prepare the trimmings. This is what we can expect for
Christmas in the year 2050, according to BT"s futurologist Ian Pearson.
