1. India would not have been on the brink of war today!
If India and Indians were more aware about potential of media and had
countered Pakistan’s propaganda to project J&K as ‘Disputed Territory’ and
their sponsored terrorism as ‘Freedom Struggle’, we would not be at war
today.
International community tells India to see reason when we act to control
Pakistan sponsored terrorism going over a decade. America & Briton used all
their weapons to destroy Al-Quida network after one terrorist attack. They
did see the reason when in the process they killed hundreds of Afghan
civilians including women and children. The world did not complain. America
doesn’t bother about terrorist killings in Kashmir, but is worried over
possibility of Indo-Pak war because that will spoil their UBL search efforts
in Pakistan. President Bush excludes Pakistan (epicenter of terrorism) from
the ‘Axis of Evil’.
This is west’s war - ‘War On Terrorism’ As Long As It Does Not Hurt Their
INTERESTS. The international community and media are blind to the terrorism
by Pakistan that has killed 60,000+ in J&K. And Indians remained silent over
severe anti-India propaganda going on for a decade. If 9/11 had not happened
the world would still be backing Pakistan on Kashmir issue. They are doing it
even now, to the extent not to expose their double standards on terrorism.
This is all about how a nation can project and engage the world in their
projections.
Pakistan has succeeded in projecting ‘Terrorism’ as ‘Freedom struggle’.
India has failed to prove ‘Terrorism’ as ‘Terrorism’.
Unless we become aware of Pakistan’s media war against India there is little
hope to change the world opinion in our favor. Indian soldiers will win the
war against Pakistan but our politicians will end up in returning the
territory under international pressure, which is not willing to accept
India’s rightful position on J&K.
Most of the international news agencies have taken this opportunity to brand
J&K as ‘DISPUTED’. Every news item in the international media mentions
‘Kashmir’ as ‘Disputed Kashmir’. They can do this because there is no
opposition form Indians to this effort. Indians need to change this pathetic
situation by being more informed and aware on J&K. President of Indian
Science Congress, Dr. Mashelkar, once said: Future wars will be fought on the
electronic media and Internet. India and Indians are yet to accept this
reality.
If we have to make ‘Strong India’ a reality, we must win every war in the
minds of the people and with the major international media (that carries
capacity to change the history with their biased reporting).
World believes in the media reporting; Media believes in what they want to
believe in. They have been free in their biased reporting because Indians
never come together and fight against their powerful bias.

2. Unusual UN comment on Pakistan terrorism.
India must maintain strong position. No talks until Pak ends terrorism, No
third party intervention. War if required. And most important ‘NOT RETURNING’
the territory this time. Period.
In one of the unusual statements Mr.Kofi Annan said there could be "no
tolerance" of acts of terrorism across the Line of Control that separates
India and Pakistan in Kashmir" and US followed the suit. This world community
very well knows who the culprit is. They must be forced to act by our strong
determination to defend our national integrity at any cost. Things will
happen only when India can show a very strong will & determination. Results
will follow.

3. Book review: 'War and Diplomacy in Kashmir'.
Irma Razdan (irazdan@yahoo.com)
“An insightful review of Chandrashekhar Dasgupta's 'War and Diplomacy in
Kashmir' by Sreeram Chaulia in Asia Times. It shows how the devious British
played India as a pawn in the 1947-48 war for their own nefarious interests.
It seems to be a must read for every proud Indian”
The history of Kashmir and of the subcontinent would have been a lot
different had Britain not toyed with facts and legality to serve its ulterior
ends through eminences grises in India.

4. MSNBC biased Kashmir story.
P Pandit (panditp@vsnl.com)
Story 'India and Pakistan Close To War' and the slide show where both, the
story and the pictures (with the commentary) are trying to show Pakistan is a
peace loving country willing for the talks and India as just the opposite
with no right over Kashmir.

6. Why no one is talking about the illegal occupation by China.
Debu Sen (debusen30@yahoo.com)
Kashmir is currently held by three countries: India 42%, Pakistan 33% and
China (a gift from Pakistan) 25%. Why no one is talking about the illegal
occupation by China.
