1. What kind of secularism is this?
Namaz in the public places should be called secular. Praying Ganesha at the
start of study is Fundamentalism?
Recently Arun Kumar Jaiswal filed a petition ‘Namaz should be limited to
Mosques and should not be held in public places’. What he received? SC fined
him Rs. 10,000. The judges claimed ‘petitioner is causing bloodshed in the
country’. (none of the judges is Muslim, so let us not blame Muslims here)
Thus, restricting ‘Namaz’ to Mosque causes Bloodshed in India.
Now read column by Martin Regg Cohn in ‘The Star’ (he is a secular person)
He claims ‘Hindu fundamentalists continue to battle with secular forces.
Hindus fundamentalists are unsettling India's secular soul’ because Lucknow
University students start their study with a prayer to Ganesha (he refers as
elephant deity).
Prarthana before study unsettles India’s secular soul and hence objectionable
and objecting Namaj in public places causes bloodshed in India. Welcome to
India secularism!!!! The problem of India is not Hindus, Moslems or
Christians but these P-SECULAR forces. In their views secularism can be
maintained only when the Majority is punished, majority must be withdrawn of
their basic rights. The same code of conduct that is secularism for minority
is the fundamentalism of the majority. They can not imagine one and single
civil code for all. If India has to progress, Hindus, Moslems and Christians
must fight with this P-S enemy within. There is no need to appease any
section of the society, the law of the land should be above everything. And
if someone is hurt by maintaining the law then that is their problem, law
must not change. Educated Indians needs to work towards this goal to make our
society a better place to live. The same P-S who changed the law in Shah
Banoo case now want VHP to follow SC orders?

2. It took years for superpowers of the world to make Mr.Arafat condemn
terrorism in Arebic. Does this mean terrorism will stop? NO!!. Director
President Mushrraf too condemned terrorism (And America believed in his words
that time). He arrested 2000 terrorists to release them after three months.
These leaders will continue to bluff the world when they come under
international pressure. But leaving path of terrorism is not in their blood.
They are born to kill and destroy. Why? They are doing their Noble duty in
their Holy war. For them killing infidels is holy duty.
And our leaders in India are so shameless in their duty for pseudo-secularism
(and educated Indians so ignorant) that they sacrifice national interests for
votes. Please read one comment by ‘Rajagopalan ashok’ rajagopal@vsnl.net
‘Dear Friends, On the issue of Palestine I suggest you read the book Exodus
by Leon Uris. When I read the book I was ashamed that I was born as an
Indian. You know what our UN Ambassador during the time of creation of the
country called Israel - was conveniently in the toilet for most of the time &
came out & voted against the formation of Israel. This was done to attract
minority muslim votes (of course the usual congress ploy) But today, neither
have any party got the muslim Vote bank but this troubled & confused mass is
preventing the country from total securalism! Congress for that matter have
always been justifying their wrongs but criticising the others. Example-
opposition for POTO while it declared emergency!!’
3. Lost city found off Indian coast
If this proves correct, it would date the discovery at more than 5,000 years
old. Comments by "Kumar Rajasekhara" skr505@msn.com - This would gives
credence to those Indian historians who refute the British and other world
historians that civilizations did exist in India before the Aryans "invaded"
India. Current world history credits the Aryans with giving India the
Mahabharata, Ramayana, and its rich religious and cultural heritage. There is
a growing number of historians, archeologists and experts who are convinced
that Indians actually migrated out of India (perhaps to escape the floods of
the Ice Age) and so the religious and cultural heritage of India was not
imported, it simply resided in India all along. –
