One of the greatest economists the world has ever known and one who is in
the run for Nobel Prize for revolutionary economics - Sitaram Yechury, has
come out with the following statement in his recent avant-garde article
titled "Tying Bharat up in knots" in the Hindustan Times: "The culmination
of the RSS's countrywide celebrations marking the birth anniversary of its
longest serving Sarsanghachalak, M S Golwalkar comes ominously close on
the eve of the 5th anniversary of the 2002 genocide in Gujarat. These
celebrations triggered the eruption of communal violence in a number of
places in recent weeks. In Karnataka, the whipping up of communal
polarization is being systematically undertaken. Reports of clashes have
come in places like Mangalore, Bangalore, Chickmagalur, various cities in
Madhya Pradesh which is also a B J P-ruled State. Similar reports are
coming from Indore, Jabalpur and Mandsaur. The latest are the reports of
widespread communal disturbances coming from Uttar Pradesh with violence
rocking Gorakhpur, Maharajgund, Kushinagar, Basti and Assamgur. These
centenary observations need to be seen in the context of the recent
Lucknow session of the B J P where it adopted a strident communal pitch
calling for the propagation of "PRAKHAR" Hindutva. "Am I running amuck?
No. The fact is that if I have to be admitted as an Honorable and Esteemed
Member of the Pseudo-Secular Corps of the Mafia of Mass Media in India, I
have to begin this article only this way and in no other way.
The Godra incident has become the favorite hobby horse of pseudo-secular
politicians belonging to the Congress, the CPI (M), the CPI, the R J D,
The Lok Janshakthi, the D M K and all the "lie loveless upon my faithless
arms" allies forming part of the UPA coalition Government in New Delhi. As
one of the known VIP minions of the CPI (M), Sitaram Yechuri has no other
option but to bark loudly along with the rest of the pack. What amazes me
is the fact that while Sri Guruji Golwalkar (1906-1973) passed away in
1973, the Gujarat riots took place 29 years later in 2002. But for
Communists like Sitaram Yechuri, Time stands still.
No one can dispute the fact that because of the wanton outrage committed
by the terrorist Muslims at Godra Railway Station, Narendra Modi was swept
back to power by the united and determined voice of Gujarat. Even after
his resounding victory in the elections, politicians like Sitaram Yechuri,
ably abetted or assisted the anti-national and anti-social journalists
belonging to the pseudo-secular mafia of mass media in India have been
crying hoarse about the communal frenzy in Gujarat let loose by Narendra
Modi and his Government.
The simple question to be asked is what has Sri Guruji Golwalkar Centenary
to do with incidents of unprovoked violence let loose by the Islamic
terrorists in India? It is well known that Sitaram Yechuri and his CPI (M)
to which he belongs are known for their Islam-embracing,
Christianity-coveting and Hindu-hating brand of electoral vote bank
politics. Sitaram Yechuri"s hatred for Hinduism and Sanatana Dharma in
general and Sri Guruji Golwalkar in particular comes out in the following
baseless and fraudulent typical Communist Party (CPI-M) statement in his
article: "Following the ban of the R S S after the assassination of
Mahatma Gandhi, Golwalkar entered into an agreement with the Government
seeking its withdrawal while assuring that the R S S would not play any
political role in the future".
This great and self-righteous champion of Bharat without Bharat Mata - in
effect a betrayer of BHARAT MATA - seems to be blissfully ignorant of the
letter sent by Sardar Vallabhai Patel to Sri Guruji Golwalkar in September
1949. In his letter Sardar Patel had referred to Communist machinations,
which at that point of time meant the anti-national machinations of great
communist leaders like P C Joshi, B T Ranadive, S A Dange, G Adhikari, P
Sundaraiah, Somnath Lahiri, E M S Namboodripath, D S Vaidya and many other
known Communist traitors right from the days of "Quit India Movement".
These are the political progenitors of pseudo-patriots like Sitaram
Yechuri and others of his ilk today. To come back to Sardar Patel's words
in his letter to Sri Guruji Golwalkar in September 1949: "In answer to the
call of the times alone, please take a decision. I and all my co-workers
have been striving from the very start to cooperate with you to bring the
situation under control and make our Motherland invincible. ... I am
thoroughly convinced that the R S S men can carry on their patriotic
endeavor only by joining the Congress and not by keeping separate or
opposing".
When Sri Guruji Golwalkar was illegally detained without a trial from
November 1948 to June 1949 under the notorious "Bengal State Prisoners Act
of 1818" (which Mahatma Gandhi and Nehru and the Congress Party had
severely condemned as a Black Law before our independence), more than
80,000 Swayamsevaks of the R S S offered their peaceful Satyagraha
throughout India and they were all detained without any trial in November
1949. "The Statesman" of Calcutta in its issue dated 22 January 1949 wrote
in its Editorial: "The leaders of the R S S deserve to be praised for the
manner in which they conducted the agitation and there is an imperative
and urgent public need for the ban on the R S S to be removed immediately.
The youth power of the country is being laid to waste by clamping them
behind bars. They are idealistic, physically fit, imbued in the spirit of
sacrifice and have the capacity to enhance the prestige of the country.
How is it proper to keep such youth power in jail?"
As a true Communist wedded to the cause of his own brand of truth and
falsehood, Sitaram Yechuri may be "voluntarily" ignorant of the fact that
the Minister for Home and Revenue, Government of Bombay, gave the
following reply in the Bombay Legislative Assembly on 14 October 1949 in
his reply to questions raised by Sri Lalubhai Patel from Surat District.
The Minister said: - 1) The lifting of ban on R S S was unconditional and
2) Sri Guruji Golwalkar had given no undertaking to the Government
whatsoever". Against this background, I would request Sitaram Yechuri in
my capacity as an unknown, superstitious, obscurantist, saffronized,
communal, half-literate and half-savage Paganish Hindu, (but to Yechuri's
dismay, in no way an official part of the Sangh Parivar!) to explain as to
what he means when he says that Sri Guruji Golwalkar "gave an undertaking"
to the Government regarding the non-participation of the R S S in the
field of politics! T.R. Venkatrama Sastri, former Advocate General of
Madras in the 1920s (and not in the sucking days of Congress Party in
post-independent India where such posts came to be conveniently bought and
sold), has clearly recorded that no undertaking was ever given by Sri
Guruji Golwalkar to Government of India either before his release in June
1949 or after it. For the elucidation of the ignorant and corrupt
pseudo-secular leaders of India who are swarming our beleaguered nation
today like a swarm of poisonous insects and stinging bees, I would like to
clarify that it was T R Venkatrama Sastri who met Nehru and Sardar
Vallabhai Patel on his own in 1949 and proved to both of them with facts
and figures that the detention of Sri Guruji Golwalkar and the ban of the
RSS were unwarranted, illegal, anti-national and anti-social.
K M Munshi was a Cabinet Minister in the Government of Jawaharlal Nehru in
1949. He wrote in the "Organizer" dated 4 October 1949: "Sri Guruji
Golwalkar, the R S S Chief, is now on an all-India tour. The ovation which
he received in Delhi for instance, is an indication that R S S. has come
to stay. It is no use ignoring the fact". In the same article, comparing
the R S S with CPI, K M Munshi wrote: "CPI is the enemy of Indian
nationalism, tied to the chariot wheel of the USSR. R S S is fanatically
nationalist, worshiping Bharat Mata with high-powered emotion, looking to
ancient India alone for inspiration. CPI seeks to undermine the foundation
of well-ordered life in order to bring about an upheaval. R S S builds up
the foundation of an unyielding discipline to take over, should the
nationalist movement fail before the CPI. CPI attracts young men by
providing a romantic background of revolutionary zeal and young women -
possibly a more dangerous - element by offering an alluring breakaway from
normal disciplined life. R S S attracts young men by the lure of
spectacular organizational life and a fanatic hatred of what they deem
anti-Hindu. I do not know whether it has ever attempted to enlist the
young womanhood in India. To CPI, Lenin, Stalin and USSR are the FATHER,
SON and HOLY GHOST. To R S S, India is a Divine Mother, at whose altar
self-immolation is bliss. What is USSR to CPI, ancient Bharat is to R S S.
The Church of CPI is "MATERIALISM"; the Church of R S S is "DHARMA"
buttressed with ancient traditions."
It is very clear that all the pseudo-secular parties in India like the
Congress, the CPI (M), the CPI and others have been completely rattled by
the massive public support that people have given to the organizers of the
Sri Guruji Golwalkar Centenary Celebrations in all parts of India from
February 2006 to February 2007, cutting across caste, color, creed and
faith. Men like Yechuri are in the line of men like Hitler, Goering and
Goebbels who were described appropriately by Winston Churchill as
"Repositories of some of the most virulent forms of soul-destroying
hatred. Yechuri's hate for "things Hindu" in general is greater than his
known and naturally whipped-up hate for Bourgeois Dictatorship!! Whether
Sitaram Yechuri likes it or not, the people of India have clearly shown
during the Centenary Year of Sri Guruji Golwalkar that they have their
full and indivisible faith in the mission of the R S S. Like the
immemorial waters of the sacred Ganga, the R S S keeps rolling along - let
it roll, let it roll on, full flood, true, benignant, inexorable, into
broader lands and better days.
