In these columns yesterday, I endeavored to unravel the known mystery
about the purely voluntary state of carefully chosen and calculated
ignorance of Sitaram Yechury about the life and achievements of Sri Guruji
Golwalkar (1906-1973), the second Saranghchalak of the RSS from 1940 to
1973 and whose centenary celebrations have been conducted not only in all
parts of India but in several other parts of the world during the last one
year with great gusto and public enthusiasm. Sitaram Yechury sheds his
typical communist crocodile tears when he bemoans about the RSS vision of
India: "Thus, clearly, this RSS vision of establishing a fascist Hindu
Rashtra and the organizational structure evolved by Golwalkar stand in
absolute antagonism to the very conception of a secular, democratic,
modern Indian republic enshrined in the Indian Constitution."
In a pluralistic democracy, everybody has the right to propagate their
views, and observe their occasions. While they are welcome to exercise
this right, it enjoins upon all Indian patriots to make an impassioned
evaluation of what these constitute for the future of our republic.
The main snag in Sitaram Yechury's solemnly pseudo secular argument is
that for the CPI (M) and all the other Communist Parties bearing all the
remaining alphabets of the English language, either as prefixes or
suffixes, more than 800 million Hindus in numerical majority in India
become relevant only once in five years at the time of elections, to be
cast aside or disposed of as used condoms till the date of the next
elections. On the contrary, Muslims and Christians in India, numerically
in minority, are to be treated as heaven born, twice born and favored
children all the time and more so with special affection on the eve of or
during every election. Our surrogate Prime Minister has lent his bravado
official support to the CPI(M) as the father of this new pseudo secular
anti-Hindu renaissance. I call this approach of the CPI (M), and other
Communist Parties of various hues and colors, as Islam-embracing,
Christianity-coveting and Hindu-hating or Hindu-baiting or Hindu-snubbing.
Why has anti-Hindutva become the most beloved mantle of the communist
politicians? And who has given a free license to men of global stature
like Sitaram Yechury to question the patriotism of a great son of India
like Sri Guruji Golwalkar ? Before I answer this fundamental question, I
would like to deal with the anti-national political track record and
history of all the endless brand of Communist Parties in India today.
History today is not, as it was once regarded, merely a liberal pursuit in
which men find wholesome food for their imagination and sympathies; but
now it has become a department of serious scientific investigation. We
study it in the hope of giving new precision, definiteness and solidity to
the principles of political science. In this context the beautiful words
of Lamartine are totally applicable: "The impartiality of history is not
that of the mirror, which merely reflects objects, but of the judge who
sees, listens and decides."
Arun Shourie in his brilliant book: The Only Fatherland Communists,
"Quit India" and The Soviet Union has totally exposed the anti-national
political activities of the Communist Party of India during the period of
II World War from 1939-1945 and more particularly during the days of Quit
India Movement in August 1942 and thereafter. It is disgraceful to see
that all the top Communist leaders of the time like P C Joshi (General
Secretary of CPI), Ranadive, S A Dange and many others were actually
extending their full underground cooperation to the British Government and
at the same time acting and pretending on the public platform as if they
were fully behind the Quit India Movement of Mahatma Gandhi as his friends
and comrades. The tragedy is that at that point of time Mahatma Gandhi and
all his men were in jail. And the leading traitors in the Communist Party
of India had secretly negotiated with the British Government and had seen
to it that most of their leaders were released from prison by the British
Government even before the start of the Quit India Movement in August
1942. They got themselves released by giving it in writing to the British
Government that they would fully co-operate with the Government in the
imperial war effort and also help them to control the national movement of
Mahatma Gandhi. P C Joshi, the General Secretary of the CPI and the most
traitorous of them all was having secret meetings with Sir Reginald
Maxwell, the Home Member in the Viceroy's Council in the Government of
India starting from May 1942.
The double talk and double dealing of the CPI during this period has been
described by Arun Shourie as follows: "Relations between the British
Government and the national movement on the one hand and the British
Government and the Communist Party on the other moved in opposite
directions: increased bitterness culminating in massive repression marked
the former; growing familiarity culminating in collaboration marked the
latter."
After shamelessly collaborating with the British Government from January
1942 to March 1944, the CPI and its leaders tried to re-establish their
political links with the Congress Party and Mahatma Gandhi after his
release from detention on March 6, 1944. P C Joshi, a political scoundrel
and an enemy of India, started referring to Mahatma Gandhi repeatedly as
"The most beloved leader of the greatest patriotic organization of our
people", "The nation's father", "A great leader of our people", etc and
indignantly denied all allegations of underground liaison with the British
Government from 1942 to 1944. Gandhiji made it clear that he was not to be
easily cajoled by the meanness, trickery and monoacting of P C Joshi and
the CPI. In his own inimitable style Mahatma Gandhi made his point clear
to P C Joshi through a letter. When this letter reached P C Joshi, like
Sitaram Yechury, Prakash Karat and Brinda Karat and others of their ilk
today, he turned on Mahatma Gandhi in the well known and usual Communist
blackmailing fashion: "I may as well give you in the very beginning our
reactions to your letter as a whole. If my father had written to me what
you have written, I would not have answered his letter and I would never
again have gone to meet him... I know you don't mean it but your ignorance
of our views and your prejudices against our Party are so great that you
don't even realize what you are writing."
Mahatma Gandhi referred P C Joshi's letter to Bhulabhai Desai for an
enquiry. Bhulabhai Desai reported in the light of cold documentary
evidence how the Communist Party of India had functioned as a fifth
Columnist, acting as a paid agent of the British Government in India. His
recommendations were referred to a Committee consisting of Pandit Nehru,
Sardar Patel and G B Pant who endorsed the findings of Bhulabhai Desai.
Charge sheets were then served on the Communist members. I am giving these
known facts of history just to highlight the highly respectable and
unsurpassed political and ideological antecedents, marked by great moral
rectitude, of self-proclaiming and nation-destroying global leaders like
Sitaram Yechury and his even more learned friends and comrades in his CPI
(M) strutting about the length and breadth of India today with bumptious
pseudo-secular aplomb and declared anti-Hindu hatred and fervor.
When we got our independence on August 15, 1947, the Government of India
should have banned the Communist Party of India. All the known mercenaries
of the CPI who had collaborated with the enemy British Government in New
Delhi in a surreptitious manner should have been brought up for a criminal
trial for acts of treason and national sabotage like the Nazi criminals in
the Nuremburg Trials after the II World War. Did not the great Lenin get
the last Tsar of Russia Nicholas II (1868 - 1918), his wife and his
innocent children brutally executed for their acts of treason against
Soviet Russia in 1918? In any other civilized country in the world, Russia
, China, North Vietnam and North Korea not excluded, that would have the
fate of an anti-national party like the Communist Party of India. Our
criminal national failure to have acted in that decisive manner against
those known criminals and traitors has proved to be a great disaster from
the point of view of our national identity and national security in post
independent India.
To quote the brilliant words of Dr Babu Susheelan "Anti-Hindutva is a very
old social disease of the Communists. It has been a permanent feature of
Islam and Christianity for thousands of years and the Hindu hatred has
obviously morphed and metastasized into many forms. Christian and Islamic
hatred is rooted in their irrational dislike, fear, envy and mistrust of
Hindus who do not subscribe to their closed, rigid, dualistic, all
exclusive dogma." Virulent anti-Hindu stance of Sitaram Yechury and all
his other leading party men is ideologically derived from one of the main
HADIS of Lenin (An Islamist like Mohammed, the prophet!) recorded by
Valentinov in his book "Encounters with Lenin" "Marxism is a monolith
conception of the world. It does not tolerate dilution and vulgarization
by means of various insertions and additions. Plekhanov once said to me
about a critic of Marxism (I have forgotten his name) "First let's stick
the convict's badge on him, and then after that we'll examine his case."
And I think that we must "stick the convict"' badge, on anyone and
everyone who tries to undermine Marxism, even if we don't go on to examine
his case. That is how every sound revolutionary should react."
All these imperiously petty and confidently wicked communists of India are
using the same method against all the Hindus of India today and sooner
than later they will all kiss the dust and go into an ineluctable
oblivion, beached by the swirling waters and ever changing tides of
history.
