Tony Blair, the British Prime Minister, recently gave a historic speech to the LOS ANGELES WORLD AFFAIRS COUNCIL IN AUGUST 2006. The Prime Minister Tony Blair has delivered a major foreign policy speech on the Middle East to the Los Angeles World Affairs Council. In the speech he called for a "complete renaissance" on foreign policy to combat "Reactionary Islam".

In many respects , Tony Blair's speech is comparable to the equally great and historic speech made by Sir Winston Churchill at Fulton, Missouri, USA in 1946, in the presence of American President Truman, making out a strong case for a united alliance against the then rising tide of Stalinist brand of International Communism . The substance of Churchill's Fulton Message, embellished with many typical rhetorical flourishes, was that From Stetting in the Baltic to Trieste in the Adriatic, an iron curtain has descended across the continent of Europe and we will not see that removed in our lifetime. Churchill also prophetically declared that peace and democracy in the post-war world could no longer be sustained by the three great powers of the wartime alliance performing as an equal trinity and offering the world a triangular leadership. He did not believe that the Russians under Stalin wanted war, but he did think that their desire was for the fruits of war and the indefinite expansion of their power and doctrines. This could be resisted without war only by America and Briton working ever more closely together.

Churchill's core message was hard and clear. To quote the words of Roy Jenkins, the eminent biographer of Winston Churchill and former British Home Secretary and Chancellor of the exchequer: Whether or not it was given that name, a Western Alliance was necessary, and there should no longer be any pretence that the leading members of the United Nations stood in equally close relationship with each other. Within a very few years, of course, this became settled American and British policy, gracefully accepted by the non-communist countries of Europe, not only by the core of France, Benelux and Italy but by others from Norway to Turkey and from Greece to Portugal. Truman and Marshall, Bevin and Acheson, achieved their greatest fame by being the architects of NATO, the alliance which through forty years of cold war, achieved its central objective while never firing a shot.

Tony Blair has made an impassioned plea to the effect that there is an urgent need for clearer thinking, a decided and more determined approach to effectively throw out the savage forces of global Islamic terrorism throughout the world. I fully endorse the view of my international civil-servant and scholar-friend Dr Kalyana Raman who says: Tony Blair may be speaking with tongue-in-cheek; but he is very close to the reality. The British colonial regime vacated India and left the seeds of jihadi terror by creating a jihadistan misnamed Pakistan. It has been a search for Hindustan ever since.

Let me not stand between you and Tony Blair who seems to have a clearer picture of the state of the polity in India than our suavely impotent Dr.Manmohan Singh and many of his Terrorist Islam-embracing, Christianity-coveting and Hindu-hating Cabinet Ministers. Many Indian pundits, op-ed writers, columnists and other Osama Bin Ladens in the pseudo-secular mafia of English mass media in India, including all the main English newspapers (excepting a few!!) have either completely ignored or not taken due note of Tony Blair's historic speech at Log Angeles on the growing menace of Global Islamic terrorism. This is what Tony Blair said.

Overnight, the news came through that as well as continuing conflict in the Lebanon, Britain's Armed Forces suffered losses in Iraq and Afghanistan. It brings home yet again the extraordinary courage and commitment of our armed forces who risk their lives and in some cases tragically lose them, defending our country's security and that of the wider world. These are people of whom we should be very proud. I know the US has suffered heavy losses too in Iraq and in Afghanistan. We should never forget how much we owe these people, how great their bravery, and their sacrifice. I planned the basis of this speech several weeks ago. The crisis in the Lebanon has not changed its thesis. It has brought it into sharp relief". The purpose of the provocation that began the conflict was clear. It was to create chaos, division and bloodshed, to provoke retaliation by Israel that would lead to Arab and Muslim opinion being inflamed, not against those who started the aggression but against those who responded to it. We must commit ourselves to a complete renaissance of our strategy to defeat those that threaten us. There is an ARC OF EXTREMISM now stretching across the Middle East and touching, with increasing definition, countries far outside that region. To defeat it will need an alliance of moderation, that paints a different future in which Muslim, Jew and Christian; Arab and Western; wealthy and developing nations can make progress in peace and harmony with each other. My argument to you today is this: we will not win the battle against this global extremism unless we win it at the level of values as much as force, unless we show we are evenhanded, fair and just in our application of those values to the world.

What is happening today out in the Middle East, in Afghanistan and beyond is an elemental struggle about the values that will shape our future. It is in part a struggle between what I will call Reactionary Islam and Moderate, Mainstream Islam. But its implications go far wider. We are fighting a war, but not just against terrorism but about how the world should govern itself in the early 21st century, about global values.

Whatever the outward manifestation at any one time - in Lebanon, in Gaza, in Iraq and add to that in Afghanistan, in Kashmir, in a host of other nations including now some in Africa - it is a global fight about global values; it is about modernization, within Islam and outside of it; it is about whether our value system can be shown to be sufficiently robust, true, principled and appealing that it beats theirs. Islamist extremism's whole strategy is based on a presumed sense of grievance that can motivate people to divide against each other. Our answer has to be a set of values strong enough to unite people with each other. This is not just about security or military tactics. It is about hearts and minds about inspiring people, persuading them, showing them what our values at their best stand for.

I don't think that Dr Manmohan Singh or his Defence Minister or his Home Minister will ever come forward openly to pay tribute to the great officers and men of the Indian Army laying down their lives fighting against Islamic terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir for fear of offending the peace loving Jihadistan alias Pakistan.

Dr Manmohan Singh and his anti-Nation and anti-Hindu and anti-Sanatana Dharma UPA Government would Soniashly dismiss without much ado the above bitingly relevant words of Tony Blair as "highly communal", RSS-like, highly saffronized and dangerously non-secular. We have a faltering, failing, dithering and shivering Prime Minister whose strings are pulled by the coldly calculating, manipulative, power-without-responsibility Italian Supremo. She has got all the political advantages which Alberto Fujimori had in Peru. To crown it all, we have a quaking irresponsible Central Government committed to the policy of promotion of Jihadic terrorism in India under the politically contrived umbrella of continuance of Peace Talks with Jihadic Pakistan even while embracing with never-ending passion the voluptuously Congress call-girl of Pseudo-secularism. All Muslims are not terrorists; however all terrorists are Muslims. This is not an accident. According to Tony Blair (highly communal and saffronized!!) this is part of a globally organized and designed net-work of Islamic terrorism.

May I secularly request our effete, neutral between neutrals Prime Minister, to convene an urgent Cabinet Meeting to depute three of his Islamic cabinet Ministers?Arjun Singh, Ram Vilas Paswan and Antulay?to go on an urgent mission to the Mecca of Islamic Jurisprudence in India, Dar-Ul-Uloom, Deoband,in UP to issue an immediate Fatwa against Tony Blair for having made that politically wicked speech supporting the Kafir Cause of saffronized Santana Dharma in Kashmir!!

M V Kamath who is no less senior as a journalist than Harish Khare(!!!) has recently written an article titled Sickening "Secular" Press in which he has observed as follows: We have to thank our secularists for the situation that we find ourselves in now. There is something sick about our secular leaders and secular press. And it has taken The Hindu and Harish Khare to point that out!! In my view this whole process has taken forty-nine years. Strange indeed are the ways of pseudo-secularism if not pseudo-journalism!!!

Neville Chamberlain was brought down by his Cabinet colleague L S Amery in the House of Commons in May 1940 by quoting the killing words of Cromwell when he dismissed the Long Parliament:

You have sat too long here for any good you have been doing. Depart, I say, and let us have done with you. In the name of GOD, go!

There is no one in the UPA Government or in the Lok Sabha or Rajya Sabha today who can speak the same words to our Prime Minister. I therefore arrogate to myself the democratic privilege of quoting the above words to our voluntarily or involuntarily deaf, dumb, is not blind Prime Minister.

Analysing the jihadi mindset, Prafull Goradia and KR. Phanda have rightly observed "it's short-sighted to crush the terrorists and be satisfied. If Islamist violence is to be eliminated, the very ideology that fosters jihad needs to be squarely challenged." Islamist terrorism is the greatest menace that the Christian, Buddhist and Hindu civilizations face today. Jihadi terrorism is the greatest challenge confronting our nation today. It derives its ideological inspiration from the tenets of the Quran and operational ballast from the pseudo-secular Islam-embracing, Christianity-coveting and Hindu-hating political vote-bank ideology of anti-nation UPA government in New Delhi.

Sita Ram Goel, an intellectual Kshtriya in the line of Shri. Aurobindo in his book The Story of Islamic Imperialism in India observes: "It is in the living memory of this pseudo-secular ruling class that Islamic imperialism became a blood-thirsty monster, and carved out large limbs of the motherland on our East and West. It is in the living memory of this ruling class that Islamic Imperialism "cleaned up" its separate State of Pakistan from the "curse" of Hindu infidels. And it is under the very nose of this ruling class that Islamic Imperialism, aided and abetted by petro-dollars, has started claiming for itself the rest of India as well, by a right of conquest in the past."

Islamic imperialism has only to dispute the fact that India is a Hindu homeland, and that the age-old Hindu society constitutes the core the Indian nation with which non-Hindu communities should get integrated. This is enough to bolster up the ruling class of secularists and communists immediately to proclaim from the housetop that Hindu society is a heterogeneous mass divided by a race, religion, sect, caste, class, language, dress, food habits, local traditions, manners and mores, and what not, and united by nothing better than a shared slavery under the erstwhile British rulers! It is of no avail to tell this ruling class that the British rulers like Sir Thomas Manro, Lord Malcolm and others were acutely aware of a deeper underlying unity informing the vast and variegated fabric of Hindu society. It is not convinced by any amount of evidence that the British rulers did all in their power to undermine that unity in pursuance of their imperialist interest. It is therefore logical for this ruling class to assert, rather aggressively, that Hindus have never been a Nation. Above all, they proudly claim that they had inherited the British "moral responsibility" for protecting the "Muslim minority." The only thing it has politically manipulated is that it has cleverly managed not to inherit the British awareness of a deeper unity which holds the Hindu society together. This wicked vote-bank Congress brand political subterfuge is eulogised as "National Integration." Sita Ram Goel concludes with conviction and clarity "In plain and simple language, therefore, "National Integration" has come to mean only one thing, namely, that a meek Hindu society should get integrated with a militant Muslim millat."

In a landmark article titled JIHADI TERRORISM? DITHERING AS POLICY, B Raman, formerly Additional Secretary to the government of India and an acknowledged authority on National Security (very definitely not National Insecurity!!!) has presented in a masterly manner the anatomy, the physiology, the pathology, the neurology and above all the endocrinology of jihadi terrorism in India. I can do no better than just quote his exact words derived from his unmatched official experience:

"In the first stage (1989-90), the J&K Liberation Front (JKLF), which demands independence for the State, was in the forefront. In the second stage (1990-93), Kashmiri organizations sponsored by Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) such as the Hizbul Mujahideen (HM), which called for the transfer of the State to Pakistan, took over the leadership. In the third stage (1993-98), dissatisfied by the ground performance of the Kashmiri organizations, the ISI infiltrated into the State Pakistani jihadi organizations, consisting largely of Pakistani nationals, to step up the jihadi terrorism against the Indian State. Initially, the Lashkar-e-Toiba (LET) and the Harkat-ul-Mujahideen (HUM) infiltrated. These were followed by the Harkat-ul-Jihad-al-Islami (HUJI) and the Jaish-e-Mohammad (JEM). These are pan-Islamic organisations, whose agenda is not confined to only J&K. They have a much larger agenda of Arabising/Wahabising Islam in India by weaning the Indian Muslims away from their cultural roots and "liberating" the Muslims living in different parts of India and creating new independent "homelands" for Muslims in North and South India. They envisage the eventual incorporation of the independent Muslim "homelands" thus created in an Islamic Caliphate encompassing the entire global Islamic Ummah."

In February, 1998, Osama bin Laden announced from Kandahar in Afghanistan the creation of an International Islamic Front (IIF) For Jihad against the Crusaders and the Jewish People. The HUM and the HUJI initially joined the IIF. The HUJI and the LET joined the IIF subsequently. In the fourth stage, which started in 1999, the Pakistani jihadi organizations, which have joined the IIF, have taken over the leadership of the terrorist movement in J&K. From 1993-98, the Jihadi terrorist movement outside Kashmir was largely in the hands of the Indian Muslim youth owing allegiance to the SIMI, the Al Ummah of Tamilnadu and other similar organizations. The ISI"s role was confined to the provision of training, funds and arms and ammunition. From 1999-2005 the ISI-supported Pakistani jihadi terrorist organizations, and spread out to other parts of India from J&K in order to better motivate the Indian Muslims and beef up their jihad against the Indian State and society. They gave a pan-Islamic orientation to the jihad, began a campaign for the Arabisation/Wahabisation of the Indian Muslim youth and started guiding organisations such as the SIMI. They started preaching a two-culture theory, holding that the Muslim culture, which (according to them) owes its inspiration to the Arab world and Central Asia, cannot co-exist with Sanatana Dharma and Hindu culture. They sought to weaken the cultural solidarity of the Indian people, which, in their view, stood in the way of the Indian Muslims identifying themselves with their co-religionists in the rest of the world. The current Jihad against India began in April, 2006 when Osama bin Laden projected the global jihad as directed against the joint conspiracy of the Crusaders, the Jewish people and the Hindus against Islam. Thus began the process of making the jihadi terrorism in India a part of the global jihad movement. More than 50 per cent of those involved in acts of jihadi terrorism in the Indian Territory outside J&K are Indian Muslims. The remaining are Pakistani and Bangladeshi nationals. The Pakistani military-intelligence establishment has been clandestinely helping in the spread of this terrorism to other parts of India outside J&K in order to create pockets of political and economic instability in India and to prevent the emergence of India as a major economic and military power on par with China.

His strategic conclusions can be summarized as follows:

a) Our total governmental failure to strengthen our counter-terrorism capability.
b) Our reluctance to empower the police and the security agencies to act firmly against the terrorists.
c) Our pseudo-secular and hesitation to expose and counter the venomous propaganda indulged in by these jihadi elements for fear of being accused as being anti-secular.
d) Our voluntarily closing our eyes to the dangers posed to national security by the large number of illegal Muslim immigrants from Bangladesh in our midst, who provide sanctuaries to the foreign jihadi terrorists.
e) Our foolish hesitation to act against the flow of petro-money from Saudi Arabia and other countries of the Ummah for promoting the Arabisation of Indian Islam.
f) Musharraf of Pakistan and his terrorist boys in Jammu and Kashmir and the rest of India have a divine right to hate us all non-Muslims and use all the weapons of Jihadi terrorism against India. It will be our bounden KAFIR duty to make love to them at any cost and continuously talk of unstoppable continuance of the sacred Peace Process with Terrorist Pakistan with pseudo-secular dedication and enthusiasm. We continue to open up our railways, our airways, our roads, our army, our navy and our air force to all the well meaning terrorists of ever compassionate Islam!!!

The effeminate Nehru was fond of crying out Chini Chini Bhai Bhai!! China invaded us in 1962. Today we are crying out Paki Paki Bhai Bhai!! Pakistan will invade India at any moment to the joy and full satisfaction of malevolent PSEUDO-SECULARISTS and COMMUNISTS of UPA government in New Delhi.

According to B Raman: "Our political leadership continues to be in a denial mode. It fails to admit the presence in our midst of elements working against our nation and society. It hesitates to act against them. Partisan political considerations have assumed ascendancy over national interests. The guiding principle of all our actions is the hope that somehow jihadi terrorism will lose its steam and our Muslim youth will refuse to be lured by it. This hope is likely to be illusory. Unless public opinion asserts itself and forces the political leadership to stop dithering and start acting, blood will continue to flow. Samshayatma vinashyathi ? those who dither, ultimately perish. This is the lesson of history."

Against this ghastly background, I appeal to the government of India to take action on a war footing to beef up our National Security by extending an invitation to B RAMAN to take up the post of NATIONAL SECURITY ADVISOR. This can happen only if government of India stops defining National Security as NATIONAL INSECURITY in actual practice.

Indira Gandhi created the mountain of Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale in the Punjab for her political purposes in the late 1970s. Likewise the US created the monster of Osama Bin Laden to fight against Russian Communism in Afghanistan in the 1980s. The chief architect of global Islamic terrorism after 1980 has been US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). As B Raman sums up the position: "Islamic terrorism in India is a by- product of the US-inspired and orchestrated jehad of the 1980s against the Soviet troops in Afghanistan. To make the Soviet troops bleed, the USA"s Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) encouraged Islamic fanaticism and incited unemployed Muslim youth all over the world to go to Afghanistan to carry on a jehad against Communism. Pakistan"s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) was entrusted by the CIA with the task of religiously-motivating, training and arming the jehadi mercenaries from different countries and sending them into Afghanistan for fighting against the Soviet troops."

Right from the beginning, the CIA was fully aware of the fact that ISI of Pakistan was diverting part of the funds and arms and ammunition received by it from the US, Saudi Arabia and other countries for use against the Soviet troops in Afghanistan, to India to instigate a jehad in our country. It did not stop it; nor did it alert the Government of India about it. At any rate Rajiv Gandhi and his Government were in a self-chosen state of pseudo secular Islam embracing coma. So was Narasimha Rao: so were all the Prime Ministers till Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Now the coma of Dr.Manmohan Singh and his UPA Government has become irretrievable and unbearable.

Lt.Gen. (retd) Hamid Gul was the Director-General of the ISI in the late 1980s. He was very proud of asserting that keeping the Indian security forces bleeding with the help of the jehadis was equivalent to the Pakistan Army having an extra division at no cost to the Pakistani exchequer. President Gen.Pervez Musharraf of Pakistan, who was then an army officer and other officers of the Pakistani military-intelligence establishment shared this trans-Islamic belief of planned destruction of India through terrorism which has become the Hydra-Headed Monster today

Israel sent several warning signals to the Government of India in the early 1990s about the subterranean postures and machinations of Muslim terrorist groups in South India. The Israeli agencies picked up a Palestinian student studying in South India who had been sent to the occupied territories to organise acts of terrorism. His interrogation revealed the dangerous presence in South India, particularly in Tamil Nadu, of Islamic extremist cells enjoying the support of the locals. The Israeli warnings were rejected as uncorroborated by the local Police and intelligence set-up. It is not surprising because all Dravidian parties after 1967 have treated only the Hindus as suspects. Within two weeks after it was sworn in, Tamil Nadu"s DMK government ordered that cases be dropped against 12 Muslim fundamentalists, all followers of Kichaan Buhari, an Al Umma sympathizer and key accused in the Coimbatore serial blasts. Cases were registered against the 12 in 2000 and 2001 under IPC Sections 153 A (promoting enmity or hatred between different religious communities) and 120 B (criminal conspiracy). The six cases, relating to desecration of idols of Hindu deities in villages surrounding Melapalayam near Tirunelveli, were at the trial stage in the district court when the GO (MS No. 431 dated May 27, 2006) was issued by the state Home department, ordering the Tirunelveli district collector to drop the cases. The accused, initially detained under the National Security Act, had obtained bail. Very senior police-officers are shocked by what they term the DMK government"s "blatant sympathy" for the Muslim fundamentalists.

Taking advantage of Government of India"s lack of seriousness in dealing with the emergence of extremism among several sections of the Muslim youth, the ISI and the various Islamic fundamentalist parties of Pakistan, are being used by the ISI for its operations against India. ISI has succeeded in creating a jehadi network in J&K and other parts of India. The ISI"s primary objective is the annexation of J&K with the help of the strategically planted trained terrorists. Their secondary objective is to keep on extending their terrorist network so as to keep the Indian security forces bleeding and preoccupied with internal security duties in different parts of India.

Since 1992-93, the ISI has also been using the Kashmiri as well as Pakistani organisations in J&K to train the cadres of the Students" Islamic Movement of India and disgruntled Muslim youth from South India in their camps in J&K so that they did not have to go to Pakistan for training. Imam Ali, of Al Ummah of Tamil Nadu, who was killed in an encounter in Bangalore on Sept.28, 2002, was thus among the non-Kashmiri Indian Muslims trained in J&K. The ISI, which has close linkages with the Bangladesh military-intelligence establishment, also used the latter for training the non-Kashmiri Muslims.

Our surrogate Prime Minister and his especially Sonia-chosen National Security Adviser will keep on announcing with undying enthusiasm over the mass media with disgraceful pseudo-secular poise: "Government of India"s peace talks with President Musharraf?? a great apostle of peace and non-violence?? will continue unabated unto eternity despite benevolent acts of compassionate Islamic terrorism in all parts of India". It is indeed sacrilegious to doubt the honourable intentions of President Musharraf of Pakistan.

The number of Muslims?mostly youth? outside J&K, who have taken to anti-national activities and terrorism is still small, but their number is steadily increasing. B.Raman brilliantly sums up: "The task is rendered difficult by the presence in our midst of an increasing number of pan-Islamic Pakistani terrorists and by the assistance received by this hydra-headed monster from the ISI?either directly or through Nepal, Bangladesh, the United Arab Emirates or other third countries. The blood vessels of this monster originate from Pakistan. Unless those roots are destroyed, we will never be able to crush Islamic terrorism in India".

Amidst this encircling UPA gloom, I am thrilled to find from the website http://yeshuaconnection.com/israel.htm that an outstanding Israeli journalist Ben Caspit has proposed the draft text for a speech by the Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert that categorically explains to the world what they are fighting for. Let us hear the heroic words of the Israeli Prime Minister:

"Ladies and gentlemen, leaders of the world. I, the Prime Minister of Israel, am speaking to you from Jerusalem in the face of the terrible pictures from Kfar Kana. Any human heart, wherever it is, must sicken and recoil at the sight of such pictures. There are no words of comfort that can mitigate the enormity of this tragedy. Still, I am looking you straight in the eye and telling you that the State of Israel will continue its military campaign in Lebanon".

"We do not dance on the roofs at the sight of the bodies of our enemy"s children ?? we express genuine sorrow and regret. That is the monstrous behaviour of our enemies. Now they have risen up against us. Tomorrow they will rise up against you. You are already familiar with the murderous taste of this terror. And you will taste more. In a loud and clear voice".

"The Israel Defense Forces will continue to attack targets from which missiles and Katyusha rockets are fired at hospitals, old age homes and kindergartens in Israel. I have instructed the security forces and the IDF to continue to hunt for the Katyusha stockpiles and launch sites from which these savages are bombarding the State of Israel. We will not hesitate, we will not apologize and we will not back off If they continue to launch missiles into Israel from Kfar Kana, we will continue to bomb Kfar Kana. Today, tomorrow and the day after tomorrow. Here, there and everywhere... Ladies and gentlemen, it"s time you understood: the Jewish state will no longer be trampled upon. We will no longer allow anyone to exploit population centers in order to bomb our citizens. No one will be able to hide anymore behind women and children in order to kill our women and children. This anarchy is over. You can condemn us, you can boycott us, you can stop visiting us and, if necessary, we will stop visiting you".

"In a loud clear voice, looking you straight in the eye, I stand before you openly and I will not apologize. I will not capitulate. I will not whine. This is a battle for our freedom. For our humanity. For the right to lead normal lives within our recognized, legitimate borders. It is also your battle. I pray and I believe that now you will understand that. Because if you don"t, you may regret it later, when it"s too late".

When are we going to be fortunate enough to hear such bracing words from our national leaders? When are we going to get tall leaders with courage, judgment, integrity and vision? Right from the days of cowardly and effeminate Nehru to the days of a petrified adolescent like Rajiv Gandhi, and the latter day wily and silent Narasimha Rao, no Prime Minister, with the spectacular exception of Indira Gandhi, was ever capable of giving a speech like the above imagined speech of the present Israeli Prime Minister. And very sadly it is an irrefutable fact that Dr. Manmohan Singh is just not capable of defending our motherland against the organized forces of global Islamic terrorism engulfing our country. The Congress party is capable of only producing chosen family heirlooms, flatterers, sycophants, pageboys, conspirators, office-seekers, bawling and blowing officeholders, spies, bribers and bribe-takers, compromisers, pseudo-secular cowards, deaf and dumb, crawling and serpentine non-men?? born freedom-sellers of our NATION.
