Why have the allies of the Congress party in the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) started attacking the economic policies of Finance Minister P. Chidambaram? That is because his anti-poor measures have led to a steep rise in prices of essential commodities. Along with the MPs of the BJP and its allies, even the MPs of the Left were recently forced to stage a walkout in the Rajya Sabha to express their complete dissatisfaction over the measures taken by the Finance Minister on the problem of runaway inflation.

The corrupt Congress-led UPA Government has been accused of importing wheat, pulses and edible oils at highly inflated prices to give its supporters in the trading community massive profits. At the same time, the UPA Government has refused to pay the proper prices to the Indian farmers for their produce. Instead of taking corrective measures, the Congress-led UPA Government is only interested in blaming the policies of the previous NDA regime for the present situation.

India's Finance Minister P. Chidambaram is not interested in bringing down the prices of essential commodities. He has been openly helping the economic criminals to artificially rig the share prices in India. He loves to see the erotic dance of the SENSEX. The share price index, SENSEX, should not be more than about 7000. The prices of many essential commodities like pulses have doubled in less than 2 years because of the massive all-round inflation caused by the rise in the share prices.

Chidambaram does not wish to control the galloping inflation as that would bring down the share prices too. So to keep the share prices high, he wants the inflation to continue. Chidambaram is the most ruthless enemy of all the poor people living in India.

Many political leaders of the UPA coalition government ruling India are the worst traitors who have encouraged forward trading in food grains leading to their hoarding and high prices. The prices of real estate have also risen enormously because of the investment of massive profits made from the deliberate rigging of share prices at very high levels.

Chidambaram acknowledges what is the real cause of the massive inflation in India, but the fellow is not ready to correct the economic situation. In fact, he is proud of the fact that the share prices are pegged at very high levels with the help of financial institutions controlled by the Government of India. He has helped the rich to become extremely more rich by looting the poor and the lower middle class people of India.

The transfer of massive wealth from crores of poor people to a few rich persons has been taking place through galloping inflation. This transfer of wealth is worth many lakh crores of rupees, which has made the future of the majority of Indians extremely bleak. The extreme deprivation and complete ruination of the poor are forcing more and more people to commit suicides. Many others have been forced to commit violent crimes. Is it surprising that the poor Naxalites have been killing even the rich Communists who have grabbed big properties for many years in West Bengal and Bihar? The Naxalites know very well that the hypocritical Communists of India are the main partners of the extremely corrupt Congress party in the massive looting of the poor people in our country.

Even when the majority of the Indian people have become extremely distressed due to the runaway inflation and the massive increase in the prices of essential commodities, Chidambaram is very delighted with his performance as the Finance Minister of India. It seems very clear that the Finance Minister is immensely happy that his cronies and collaborators are making massive amounts of money by increasing the misery of the common people. So all the leaders of the coalition parties in the UPA Government can only get the worst curses from the poor and the lower middle-class people of India.
