Looking forward to the rise of India again, in 2004. It’s the rise of the
strengths, the rise of power, the rise of the young generation and new
thinking and support of the cultural heritage, which we are proud of. In
the past, I have never seen such a positive wave among the newspapers and
television promoting India as a strong country all across the globe. We
have understood the power of media and its key role and responsibility and
making it among the few of the top on the world stage. Whether its
Business, IT services, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, finance,
engineering, military or medical, the Indian Human Resources has the best
of every field and on which the world can count on.
We have really seen India growing with faster pace after the nuclear tests
in 1998 and test seems to be successful as we can truly see in our tri
colored flag in terms of patriotism, peace, prosperity and simplicity and
in the middle Ashok Chakra is spinning fast representing the wheel of
progress in the highest of its glory. I do not know whether it’s the
present government or the young generation under the influence of IT
(information technology) and free Media has changed so many things, but we
can definitely smell the positive influence everywhere. Whether its
Congress or BJP or NDA, only a stable government that moves with the young
people and rich experience of the history can take the country steps
forward to this level. Simple living and high thinking have always been
the thinking of an Indian. We should be aware and happy of our success and
try not blame the system/government for all the misshapenness as said by
our president Dr. Abdul Kalaam. It’s the time we should know and use our
strengths and should also learn from our weaknesses like
political/systematic corruption. If we have rich and educated states like
Delhi, AP, Punjab etc. then we will also have Bihar,UP and Orissa which we
have to bring up at the same or better level. We can not solely blame
Laloo Prasad Yadav for Bihar. It’s the young generation, which should
learn to stand against the corruption despite being the cases like
Satyendra Dubey of IIT. We have to bring North, East, West and South
together to make it good NEWS, the strong India. Encouragement and
accomplishments should be appreciated and rewarded to keep up the high
spirits. Not to mention, the patriotic movies like Shaheed Bhagat Singh
(all the versions), LOC, Lagaan and others are making Indians proud of
their country and their accomplishments. We should not forget our
country’s heros like Chattarpati Shivaji, Maharana Pratap and other
unknown leaders.
The contribution to make India a successful country is coming from all the
places and now is time to keep these spirits high and healthy. We have
achieved a lot in last few decades and there’s still lot to go. We have to
teach the new generation to ask the questions and their rights, but this
can only be done only if there basic needs Roti, Kapda aur Makaan are
fulfilled, so that they can think beyond these things. We should be
aggressive enough to fight against the corrupted system and people. Now,
almost every other day we hear the news from the Indian economics and its
growth and also from our international borders about the security and our
neighbours are responding positively like what happened along Indo-Bhutan
border. Indians abroad (NRI’s), all across the globe have made their
greatest contributions in upbringing of India to this stage. We now have
among the best of researchers and research labs in the world and our
defence system and strategies are working at their best to make our
country a developed and powerful country.
We hope we will again have the successful and bright year again in 2004
and we’ll rock this world with our success. Happy and Prosperous New Year
to all the readers!!
