Dear friends,

I would like to congratulate you on your Peace initiate with Pakistan. I wish I could join in your efforts but there are some fundamental questions which are keeping me away from it. I hope you can help & enlighten me on joining your efforts.

--- How do you justify Peace with Pakistan when we are not at War with them. It is Pakistan that has an undeclared war going on with India by cross border terrorism and killings on Indian soil.

--- How do you justify peace with Pakistan when it is involved in killing of my fellow countrymen in Kashmir. Even as we speak some innocent civilian & Indian army soldier is being killed at the hands of Pakistani terrorist in Kashmir. 40,000 of my countrymen have died at the hands of Pakistani trained terrorist in last 10 years.

--- How do you trust and justify peace with Pakistan when it has back stabbed my country so many times. When the Prime Minister of my country was in Lahore talking Peace, Pakistani army was busy in attacking my country in Kargil. 900 of my country men had to sacrifice their life in Kargil.

--- How do you justify Peace when my motherland was attacked not once but 3 times without provocation by Pakistan.

--- How do you justify Peace with Pakistan when it is giving refuge to the criminals who were responsible for the Mumbai blasts. 600 of my fellow countrymen were killed in Mumbai by the explosives which Pakistan supplied to these criminals.

--- How do you justify peace with Pakistan when it was involved in hijacking of Air India for the release of the terrorist leader Maulana Masood Azhar. Don’t forget that Rupen Khatial who was returning from his honeymoon was killed by the Pakistani terrorists.

--- How do you justify peace when Pakistan is involved in destabilizing my countries economy by pumping millions of counterfeit currency.

--- We as Indian citizens always welcome the Pakistani artist to perform in India but in turn Pakistan doesn’t allow our artist to perform in the country.

--- Do you think that second world war was a mistake if it would not have happened half of the world would have been speaking German today and people like Hitler (today Mushraff) would have ruled the world.

--- Please also visit some Madarsas in Pakistan and ask any 8 year old what they think of India and you will know what they teach in the schools. If that doesn’t satisfy you please read any of the text books used in Pakistani schools and you will get the answers.

I hope you can shed some light on my confused mind and enlighten me on the Peace effort.

I would be happy to cheer you off at the Wagh border hopping that you will return safely from the country which is plotting death and destruction of my motherland.

Good Luck & may God give you vision to see the difference between Good and Evil.

Anjali Patel
