We here, in India, are ignorant of the global analysis of this prediction, and hence are rejoicing over the idea that the country mentioned has to be India. Yes, we are surrounded by water on 3 sides, ad we do observe Thursdays as sacred. But what else is present to support this belief? Absolutely zero, nothing!!

India is being humiliated in all possible ways today. The 13^th December attacks and its handling by our NDA government evoke a feeling of national shame. What happened to the list of the 20 Most Wanted terrorists submitted to Pakistan? What happened to the "Aar-Paar ki Ladai"? Have we been able to persecute the perpetrators of the attack? What happened to the much reported Gazi Baba? The PDP in JK is releasing hordes and hordes of terrorists. The JKLF hold over Kashmir is increasing with every released militant. Yaseen Malik continues to hold large public rallies, talk about Kashmir secessionist movement, and yet is not clamped with charges of sedition. What happened after POTA? Why was Indian airspace opened to Pakistani planes? How is it so that the terrorist training camps in PoK are still running unabated?

Who is going to answer these questions????

Then there are reports of the Anees Ibrahim getting arrested in UAE. There are reports of Abu Salem being held in Portugal. Of Quottrochi being arrested in Malaysia. And the government's inability to deport or extradite them to India. Would such insignificant countries have dared to do anything like this to China? Or the US? It is only with India, the scum that it possesses, that such incidences can occur. It is only with India, can the Bangladeshi government remain unapologetic even after mutilating and lynching its BSF soldiers. It is only with India, that Musharraf can snub, swear, abuse, bleed, insult, and expect to go scott-free. It is only with India, can the hijackers of IC 814 expect to get their demands met, kill passengers, go free, again return to India and attack the Parliament. India, with its NDA government has proved itself to be a worthless pile of shit, once again.

And still we expect to become a superpower. Still we expect to prove to the world the essence of Indianness and glory of India culture. Still we expect to revolutionize the planet with our supremacy.

The trouble with Indians is that we expect a lot too much. We dream in excess. We imagine things that are beautiful, and hope to achieve them without doing any efforts. Wishful thinking. We say that 33% of NASA people are Indians. We say that 30% of American doctors are Indians. We take pride in quoting names like Sabeer Bhatia, Manoj Night Shyamalan, Desh Deshpande, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Osho and so on. We take pride when we see Indian performers abroad. But looking back again, we love being projected as the bumbling idiots in Hollywood movies, we love to be shown as stupid New York taxi drivers. We love to be called "snake-charmers". And still, after all this humiliation, we love to be "westernized" and consider other fellow Indians as "backward".

In short, the imbecility of the Government in Delhi's throne is the reflection of the impotency of the people who elect the Government. After all, both share the same mentality. Both are equally sadistic towards life, and the country as a whole. It is the people who dig their own graves, and bury themselves into it with sublime happiness.

This country really stinks. It lacks the attitude needed for change. The people lack the fervour needed to bring about a Renaissance. The system lacks the strength needed to sustain a revolution.
