This article in Maxim has not only insulted 1 billion people of India but also several millions around the world who have been inspired by the leadership of Mahatma Gandhi. Mahatma Gandhi's leadership has a great relevance in today's world for peace and tranquility. His philosophy of "non-violence" has an immense need for the survival of this world.

Through his deeds, actions and leadership, Mahatma Gandhi has been considered as a great leader of our times. This magazine, through similar articles in the past, has been aiming at insulting great leaders such as Mahatma Gandhi without any substantial and value based reason.

As a global corporate entity, you as an advertiser in this magazine has a greater responsibility in stopping such publications, at least in the future. Despite several thousands of emails and communication sent to the magazine, the publishers and editors of Maxim have not bothered to respond or apologize to people around the world who admire Mahatma Gandhi for his contribution to the world. Such articles and depiction of world leaders would create communal violence and the intention of the publishers and editors of this magazine does not aim at creating communal harmony.

To restore global values, and respect to your organization, I am of the opinion that you should initiate steps to stop advertising not only in this magazine, but any similar magazines that deface the value of such great leaders as Mahatma Gandhi.
